So anyway... is a FREE community storytelling series organized by WRITE ON, DOOR COUNTY that celebrates the stories life has always been built on: stories shared around dinner tables, over fish boils, on front porches, at family gatherings, across coffee shop tables. STORIES that make us laugh, make us think, and remind us we're more alike than we realize.
These curated storytelling events are held at VARIOUS VENUES throughout the county, bringing together neighbors, visitors, lifelong locals, and newcomers for evenings of authentic, personal storytelling. Join us on October 21st to LISTEN to this session's selected storytellers!
Interested in becoming a STORYTELLER for a future event? No judges. No competition. No pressure. Just real people sharing real stories in a welcoming, supportive space. There are no themes or topics, every story just needs to begin with "So anyway..."
Stories should be 7 to 10 minutes long and told from the heart. First-timers are especially encouraged to participate. Storytellers are asked not to read from notes or a manuscript; authenticity matters far more than perfection. The following So anyway... event is on January 20.
